1-1 coaching is there to support you in achieving your triathlon goals. If geography allows, this can be face to face, but otherwise sessions can be online.
Usually coachees purchase their own training plan to form the basis of their programme, but this 1-1 coaching then supports the athlete in adapting it to their own needs, ambitions and other commitments. If athletes pick a programme from Training Peaks, I can link our two accounts and am then able to track progress, see data and add/adapt specific sessions.
Initially we will go through an audit/baseline of current strengths and identified limiting factors. Depending on the athlete, we can structure this through British Triathlon pro-formas or use those as a framework for a more general conversation – as with most things, everything is personalised to how you work best and how you want the coaching relationship to operate.
